Security Systems

We have designed and produced a number of security control systems incorporating entry and exit identification of personnel. Identification is accomplished in our systems using biometric identity checking.

We have incorporated a variety of biometric identification systems, which can check against iris image, fingerprint, hand-outline etc. The two systems that we have standardised on are hand outline, or fingerprint identification, combined with weight and PIN. The unique biometric data is stored and recalled in our systems, along with PIN data.

Biometric security has been found to be advantageous over conventional password security as no amount of force is able to overcome the system. The biometric data for personnel is made portable by the use of our custom designed data key system, the key also doubling to store logging information, varying in type according on the use of the installation. We have installed a variety of security and identification systems in building access and specialist vehicle applications.

The hardware design aspects for all of our modern security systems have remained similar in approach; incorporating an embedded processor, with a variety of I/O options, including intelligent output devices. Due to the flexibility of the embedded processor that we use, I/O can be modified and tailored to suit the customer needs.

The propriety software for each of our security systems is often custom designed, with careful consultation with our clients, to allow for a wide range of entry/exit routines and lockdown procedures.
