The motors drive high quality Ball Screws via Kevlar reinforced timing belts on alloy pulleys (safety covers not shown in the photograph).

The screws are almost entirely enclosed in the steel mounting arms giving good protection from ingress of dirt.

The backbar is supported on two ball bushings per side with wiping seals to reduce maintenance requirements.
