Autofold 4 Controller CPU Replacement

We are now manufacturing a replacement computer module for use in Autofold 4 control system computers.

This is intended for use on the machines and control systems that were built between 1988 to 2000. The original control computer were either Epson or IBM modles, or later, a Jubilee designed computer running DOS. Many of these old Autofold machines are, despite their age, still in daily use, along with the original control systems.

The new replacement computer runs the very latest Autofold control software (running on a Windows CE operating system platform), yet connects to the original machine interface circuits. This allows users of old machines to take advantage of the many software upgrades that have been implemented since version 4 of the Autofold.

The benefits of the most current software in comparison to the original Autofold 4 software include:
--> Improved parts, locks and gauges library functions.
--> A highly customisable Jobs library.
--> Diagnostic Utilities.
--> One off part production using a 'Make Quick' function.
--> Touch Screen support.

This computer replaces the original Autofold 4 'Jubilee Computer' (the unit housed in a plastic/aluminium box) that was available to purchase as a spare.

The replacement controller is housed in a robust aluminium enclosure. Connectors have been chosen to be compatible with the old computers, making a field swap out an easy 'plug in and go' solution. There is no need for a site visit by a technician or engineer.
